Privacy Policy

1. Scope and contact

inQRedible (“we”) provides the iPhone app and this website. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@inqredibleapp.com. This policy covers app behavior for release 2.5.0; Apple and Google process information under their own terms when their services are used.

2. Product content stays local

QR and barcode contents, scanned results, URLs and hosts, clipboard or user-entered text, Wi-Fi fields, contacts, events, coordinates, images, logos, filenames, paths, project names, projects and history are processed on your device for app functions. They are not uploaded to inQRedible servers to generate, scan, save or export a code, and they are forbidden from optional analytics and diagnostics.

Projects use local transactional recovery and bounded retry. This is not cloud sync or guaranteed recovery. Device backups, restores and deletion of the app are controlled by iOS and your Apple settings.

3. Optional analytics, diagnostics and attribution

Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance and Apple AdServices attribution remain disabled until you make an explicit optional choice in the app. Declining keeps them disabled. Revoking consent disables future collection, cancels active performance traces and purges reports that have not yet been sent. Re-enabling starts a new consent period and does not replay an earlier period.

• Firebase Analytics: bounded events about app areas, actions and outcomes, such as opening a feature, selecting a plan type, completing an export or receiving a sanitized failure category, together with limited technical context such as app version and build.
• Firebase Crashlytics: crash stack traces, approved diagnostic categories and provider-generated installation identifiers and device/app metadata needed to diagnose stability.
• Firebase Performance: approved duration traces for launch, catalog, persistence, scanner and export operations, plus provider-generated technical data described by Firebase.
• Apple AdServices: an Apple attribution token may be sent to Apple to determine whether an install followed an App Store ad. The response may contain non-user-identifying campaign fields. The app does not use IDFA or cross-app tracking.

4. Data excluded from telemetry

Optional analytics and diagnostics must not contain QR, scan or clipboard payloads; URLs or hosts; contact, event or Wi-Fi data; images or media metadata; filenames or paths; project names; free text or raw errors; prices; receipts; account or transaction identifiers; or user identifiers. Purchase reporting uses bounded plan, lifecycle and outcome categories rather than commercial or account data.

5. Providers and retention boundaries

Google processes Firebase data under the Firebase privacy and security terms and Google Privacy Policy. Firebase currently documents 90-day retention before removal begins for Crashlytics stack traces and associated identifiers; 30 days for IP-associated Performance events; and 60 days for installation-associated and de-identified Performance data. Google Analytics retention depends on the property’s provider-console settings. Provider documentation and console configuration control data already delivered to Google and may change independently of the app.

Apple processes App Store, StoreKit and AdServices information under Apple’s Privacy Policy and Apple Advertising & Privacy. Changing consent inside inQRedible stops new app-side collection; it does not retroactively erase information already delivered to Apple or Google.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

Apple and StoreKit process purchases, payment details, subscription management and refunds. inQRedible receives verified product and entitlement status needed to show offers and unlock PRO. Payment-card data is not provided to inQRedible, and prices, receipts and account or transaction identifiers are not included in optional analytics or diagnostics.

7. Camera, photos and files

The camera is used only after permission to scan codes. Photos and files you choose are used for the requested import, design or export workflow. You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Imports are bounded and cancellable; files that exceed supported size or complexity limits may be rejected without being uploaded.

8. Local retention and your controls

Local projects, history and selected assets remain on the device until you delete them, an app recovery window expires, or iOS removes the app’s data. Recoverable deletions may temporarily retain local tombstone and asset data until the undo window expires. In Settings you can decline, grant or revoke optional telemetry, reset its local consent state, restore purchases and manage subscriptions.

9. Requests and legal rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us with the app version and your request, but do not send QR contents, Wi-Fi credentials, contacts, images, receipts or transaction identifiers. Provider-held or Apple Account data may need to be managed directly through Apple or Google.
