Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 13, 2026
Your privacy matters to inQRedible. This policy explains what data the app processes, how it is used and what data is not collected when you create, scan or export QR codes and barcodes.
Data you enter in the app
Your QR content is processed on your device. Text, links, Wi-Fi networks, contacts, events, phone numbers, emails, coordinates, images, logos, scanned codes and history are stored locally on your iPhone and are not uploaded to inQRedible servers to create the QR code.
Usage analytics
The app may record anonymous interaction events to understand how the product works and improve the experience. These events may include, for example, app launches, template selection, scanner usage, exports, errors, subscription status or paywall actions.
- We do not include raw QR content, scanned URLs, phone numbers, emails, coordinates, SSIDs, passwords, clipboard text or images.
- Events are enriched with anonymous installation, session and event identifiers, plus language, platform, app version and build.
- Events are written to a local file inside the app sandbox. If an HTTPS analytics endpoint is configured, they may also be sent to that endpoint.
- This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising tracking.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store and StoreKit. inQRedible receives the purchase or subscription status to unlock PRO features, but it does not receive your card details or other payment data.
Camera, photos and permissions
The scanner uses the camera when you grant permission. Images or logos you select are used to create or customize QR codes inside the app. You can revoke permissions from iOS Settings.
Third-party services
The app uses Apple services for purchases, subscription restoration and subscription management. Apple applies its own privacy policies to those services.
Retention and control
Local data remains on your device while the app is installed unless you delete it from the app or uninstall inQRedible. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your Apple ID settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, analytics or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
